There aren’t many people in this world who can go to sleep at night knowing that because of them, an infinite number of lives have been saved. My spectacular pal Kris (@howtoglitteraturd) is one such hero. I’m sure she won’t want to be described that way, but I’m saying it anyway because that’s exactly what she is - a hero, an angel, a force of nature, a magical soul, a ray of sunshine - a glitterer of turds! What’s more, in addition to all the life-saving - and perhaps even more significantly - Kris is someone who has made a masterpiece of her life. It’s a life that is not without its heartbreaking setbacks and seemingly impossible challenges yet at the same time, hers is a life packed with passion, purpose, joy, silliness, love, laughter..oh, and BOOBS of course!! I don’t think I know anyone who knows how to live life as well as her. When Kris asked me to be her first guest on her new podcast (inspired by her incredible memoir “Glittering A Turd”) I knew I was in for a chat like no other. I believe Kris and I have been gearing up this natter for over a decade, ever since we met when we were in our early twenties (scroll right!) both out to do whatever we could to coat our respective turds in glitter. The truth is it’s beyond a privilege to be able to sit, woman to woman, friend to friend, survivor to survivor and talk so deeply about the sh!t we have been through and share how we each got to where we are today. Kris’s support and love for my book is about the greatest validation I could ask for and her friendship is just as precious. I am so proud and lucky to know u Kris and thank you, for the chat, for the wisdom, the voice in my head telling me to check my boobs EVERY SINGLE DAY, and for just being you.
