We are so proud of @illumitati for how beautifully she handled a massive viral moment she started last week. Her ‘Make @instagram Instagram Again’ post got over 1.5M likes and the @changedotorg petition she started has close to 300k signatures from around the world. Kylie, Kim, Kourtney and many more top celebrities, creatives and creators shared her feeling that the recent changes to Instagram were not what their users wanted (or at least they wanted a choice about them.) Tati gracefully handled interviews about the situation with the BBC, CNN, WSJ, Washington Post and more and there was media coverage around the globe about it. She kept the interviews positive and constructive because she loves the app but didn’t love what she was experiencing. More importantly, it moved the needle with Instagram addressing the situation by rolling back some of the new features and admitting that they needed to listen to users more and make a change.
