Planning a family vacation is often not without its difficulties. But for a family with a child with a critical illness, those difficulties can extend beyond budgeting or scheduling time off work and school. Khloe, who is diagnosed with end stage renal disease, wished for a way to take those special trips without interfering with her dialysis treatments. A camper proved to be just the thing to keep the twelve-year-old safe and comfortable while on the road. “Thank you so much to Make-A-Wish,” her family says. “Khloe is in need of a kidney transplant. With this camper, she can still experience vacations while bringing her machine with us. Also the fact she is immune compromised, it helps keep her safe in her own environment.
