Shana Tova = Happy (Jewish) New Year! 🙏🏼❤️🍎🍯✨ I am wishing for all of you that this New Year brings - FREEDOM As I reflect back on my time in Tel Aviv, Israel last month and how FREE I felt to be me, as seen in my swimsuit scootering my way to the beach despite being in the Arab/Islamic region (Jaffa) of the city. I reflect on the current affairs in Iran (the land in which my parents were born), where women are not able to let their hair blow in the wind and that the Hijab is so strictly enforced that after #mahsaamini ‘s death, there has been 1 week of protests and many innocent lives lost to say, enough is enough - we deserve our #freedom! Israel, IS real! Israel, is the holy lands for so many faiths 🔯✝️☯️☪️🕉 And contrary to what propaganda and the news may show you, people co-exist peacefully (for the most part) and respect one another’s ways, choosing to agree to disagree at times, but allowing each to be free in their way of life and how they express it. You can see the Mosque in the background, and you can hear the chants of the Namaz. What you may not see is that there was a church one block up and a synagogue of course close by. How normal and peaceful it is to simply co-exist ⛪️🕌🕍 So on this #RoshHashana I pray that Hashem/God blesses us all with the ability to see!! That we may see others as our equals, as our reflection. That we may see life for what it truly is - the good and the bad- and have the awareness to not fall into the traps of those who are great talkers but dont walk what they preach. That we may see not just from our two eyes, but from our third eye - our 6th senses and intuition guiding us. 👀👀👀 May we live a life of Peace, Prosperity and conviction to our PURPOSE! And so it is!
