Yo, when the kind folks of @on_running asked me to pull up to Chamonix Mont-Blanc to join the festivities for #utmb aka Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc aka it’s a 106-mile race doing a lap around Mont Blanc, West Europe’s highest summit, and touching France 🇫🇷 Switzerland 🇨🇭and Italy 🇮🇹 aka runners are on the road for 20, 30, or 40-plus hours...it piqued my interest with the quickness. Not ‘cause I’m ‘bout that life (at least not yet...or never), but who doesn’t want to check out the French Alps, son? And soak in incredible oxygen, and get blessed by views that made poet Percy Shelley “in a trance sublime and strange.” Or as Prodigy noted, it got me “stuck off the realness.” Aight, more details to come.
