As actors, we sometimes prance from one job to the next, without taking time to be still, reflect, and integrate the experience of working so intimately with a large group of people, converging energies and merging skills... A month after learning that “Our Kind of People” would only have one season, I’m pressing ‘pause’ to come on here and let you all know how FULL of appreciation my heart is, for your outcries of outrage and your showers of love for the show, in my DMs, in the comments, and- most movingly- in live encounters. We had incredible fun telling juicy stories, while shining a light on a “kind of people” never before portrayed on television.
