It is difficult to see all the progress roll back to positions a majority of Americans reject. Many pretended the Republicans aren’t that serious about this 16th century world view and really just want tax cuts and market growth, in return for a few empty promises made to the loony far-right fringe. No more! The judges they put into office mean a generation of gerrymandering, while gun control, reproductive rights, and inclusion for people of all orientation, gender, and cultural heritage are in real peril. I hope the left can take a break from bickering over small woke-colored potatoes while the country slides backward into a repressive, totalitarian fantasy scape. Vote locally, vote on everything, stay engaged, and give a fuck. Because if you don’t, no one else will do it for you.
