"Whilst photographing, I only shoot on film and have been wanting to bring the same sensibilities to moving image for some time. This was really the perfect opportunity to use film, allowing us to fully capture the feel of the 70’s blaxploitation era, in turn further connecting the visual to the conceptual. ⠀⠀ I’ve always had a thing for how film paints subjects, so editing the video was a dream.
