But summer 2022 will be remembered for the great heat, the period of June and July was ranked first among the hottest for the beautiful country, even surpassing the scorching 2003. Thanks to an August that allowed less extreme temperatures, then , we dodged the new summer record but the data remains worrying. Overall, evaluating the climate we experienced throughout the quarter, in fact, the summer of 2022 ranks second among the hottest ever recorded in Italy. Finally, a detail that concerned our summer holidays that will be remembered as the most expensive of the last 50 years.
