A few snippets from my week. 1. Did a reading at NCSU with the lovely @mishalazzara 2. Office hours are more fun when @bethwriter318 is your office mate. (Pls ignore my messed up floorboard thing idk what happened.) Now we just need to bring in the rug and I’m going to get another beanbag chair. 3. A student brought me some yummy tea to try during our group conferences this week. It always makes my heart happy at how thoughtful these kids are. 4. Didn’t get a photo of my fiction class outside today, but a student made the BEST gingerbread cookies. It’s a 3 hour class and students have been bringing snacks to share each week. So grateful for the community, vulnerability, and generous spirit of my students. I really really love my job. ❤️
