Comin up I always had a deep appreciation for Chicano art and culture. Well culture period. To this day that’s one of the main driving forces that keeps me going and keeps me in touch, Is my love and appreciation for all things culture. But right now I wanna show love to all my Hispanic / Latino peoples. And a special shoutout to La Raza, because they’ve had so much influence in the things I do and love. I went from drawing on my school desk, to tagging on walls, to tattooing, to airbrushing, to painting cars, and doing murals. But I’ve found that I always had a thing for letters. I loved handstyles. I love the physical act of writing. So i write a lot. Majority of my ink has been done by Mexican artists or artists that were inspired by Mexican artists. Back then you really had to dig to find out about certain artists. Unless you were from LA or part of the culture you didn’t know about artists like @bigsleeps or @misterctoons , jus to name a few. But fast forward to today, they have become the OGs of the game and inspired millions of new creatives to pursue their passion. Back then you really had to have something in you to go against all odds to chase a dream. To do what you want. You didn’t even think that was possible. It only seemed like a fantasy. But today the opportunities are absolutely endless.
