@righteouseats highlighted in Times Square @timessquarenyc 🗽powered by @samsungus Yo, peace and blessings to the #righteouseats community for holding it down 🤜🏼🤛🏼 As always, much respect to the @streetvendorproject for the work they continuously do for street vendors throughout New York City. Shout out to Cleotilde, who cooks incredible chalupas in Corona on Junction, Mahmoud who’s been serving beloved halal bites on Steinway for decades, and Chef Lin with righteous wok work on Main Street. PLUS, all the eateries and restauranteurs we’ve highlighted on @righteouseats to date. It’s a dazzling feeling to see our work getting recognized in Times Square, an iconic, world-class hub for billboards that faces like mine, or Cleotilde’s, Mahmoud’s and Chef Lin’s, rarely, if ever gets represented, even though Queens is only a 15-minute 7 Train ride away. While the job’s far from done, I want to give a shout out to all immigrant, POC, small business owners, and ESL-taking children. These moments are for all of us. 🫡 Sincerest apologies to those that RSVP’d, but we can’t accommodate for tonight’s event at Samsung 837 🙇🏻‍♂️ due to limited capacity.
