I got a little dose of #SalemMA in NYC yesterday as I attended the Salem Witch Trials: Reckoning and Reclaiming exhibition at the New York Historical Society, paired with a panel on queer identities in modern witchcraft practice. I’m thrilled I got to grab a photo with this painting “Witch Hill (The Salem Martyr)” by Thomas Satterwhite Noble, which I have seen reproduced in books over and over again my whole life. AND I got an even juicer bite of Salem on Wednesday as I went back to haunt my favorite places, see my favorite people, and give my love-filled tour of Witch City to some magical friends.
