The Upholstered Headboard Add-on attaches seamlessly on top any existing Floyd Bed headboard (or can be added with a purchase of a new headboard). Takes a few seconds to install. The inspiration for this Add-On came from hearing many Floyd Bed customers over the years wanting an Upholstered Headboard option. But in the process of designing one, we kept coming back to the same roadblock: it always felt wasteful to have customers throw away their existing headboards for something brand new. So instead, we designed it as an Add-On. We love the ending result: the contrast of the fabric on wood of the bed frame elevates the overall look of The Floyd Bed, and brings a new level of comfort and practicality to the design.
