When I don’t train I find that ADHD med side effects hit me a lot harder. I have less appetite, it’s easier to forget to eat and it could just be because my routine has changed, but it could also be because the exercise helps regulate and reinforce my hunger to an extent. The reason I haven’t been training is because I have Hyrox tomorrow so obviously I want to be well rested for it. My last session was just before the weekend. But now I’m in a weird position where I know that I need to fuel well, but I’m really struggling to get any calories in me or have any drive to actually eat. So this is my go to for the days where it feels like I can’t eat, but I know I need to, and hopefully it’s helpful for you if you need a version of this for yourself as well. 300ml Plant Milk 50-60g Protein Powder 1 Banana (or fruit of choice) 15-30g healthy fats OR if you need carbs honey or biscoff or similar. Blend and drink up🌪️ This may be isn’t the optimal most balanced variation of a meal you can have but it ticks all the boxes and get some calories in me easily and quickly.
