So I was bored, messing around in a studio and inspiration struck - so I gave myself a project. Sometimes you gotta make your own damn art. And of course I had to be dramatic about it. What else would you expect..? I am a believer of always having something on the horizon, I think it is key to avoiding burnout during periods of time where it feels like nothing is happening. It can be the smallest thing, but I’ve learned that keeping the hope of something exciting alive is crucial. When you are on that vibration level of excitement for what’s next, abundance/opportunity seem to unfold. “To have something that I can believe in” (still over the moon inspired from @stepkickstepturn workshop) I learned a lot creating this -as usual there are so many things I would redo - but, we have to meet ourselves where we are - celebrate that - and then keep working to be better. It would be boring if it was always perfect. At the end of the day, I love what I do. I love telling a story. I love dancing a story, singing a story and acting a story. Always have. Always will. I hope you enjoy this little project I have dramatically made a big deal about, because why the hell not? Lastly, I am simply so grateful to have the best people. Grateful for @jessicaleegoldyn - you inspire me more than you know. You keep the magic of jazz alive, and your care for passing along the gift of this art form is so evident in all that you do. You have changed me as a dancer, artist and human. Grateful for @tannerlane17 and your love to teach and create a community of dance. You lead with so much passion and I will always admire your undeniable brilliance - yet truly humble and kind spirit.
