On the occasion, we're sharing a "Quarterly" video of the artist in his Houston studio. He speaks about his paintings, describing their connections to his long engagement with the activity of dominoes and to his community-based projects created in the tradition of social sculpture. An exhibition of new works by the artist, "Meditations on Social Sculpture," opens on September 8 at Gagosian, 541 West 24th Street, New York. Lowe’s work is also included in the 2022 Whitney Biennial, on view through September 5.
