Had the honor of presenting last night at #muahsawards . A lot of people don’t know this but for many actors the hair and makeup trailer is holy ground. The vibe has to be right. Radical trust and collaboration. It’s a very intimate setting. That space can be transformative (sometimes literally). I owe a lot to the many artist in hair and makeup who have spoken into my life, helped me to push through when I’m exhausted, educated me about a plethora of things and given me guidance. Their job goes well beyond the title. Just getting into the union is a feat. So, I had to show up and give some love to all the amazing artist who were nominated.
