DIY Pumpkin Pails - Halloween decor idea 🎃🎃 Pumpkins and Jack O Lanterns are my absolute favorite (if you can’t tell). I bought some extra pumpkin pails from last year and used them for this DIY. I have checked and they havent hit the stores yet.. but when they do, I will announce it in a post and stories. -I mixed 3 colors of paint to get this warm creamy color. I used “Anitas brand” Pumpkin color, “Folkart brand” vintage white, and a brown I got from the dollar store. I mixed to get the color I wanted, so obviously I mainly used white and added brown & orange to warm it up. I also just used a flat black for the eyes, mouth, nose. And then when its completely dry, I came back through with the creamy mixture color to even out the edges on the mouth, nose, eyes. I always seal after painting. I use Krylon spray gloss sealer. Hot glued them to the stands and added my florals!!
