This picture was taken by the @onlyone @sealegacy team in one of the beautiful islands in Guna Yala, you can see that some islands are already going underwater 😩 Climate change is real, it’s caused because of human activities, 97% of scientists agree, we are in a very bad situation but there is hope 🙏🏽 In order to face the climate crisis we need to act with unity, resolve, and ingenuity, and toward equitable long-term outcomes to support the economic transformation to net-zero transition 🌱 The transition to net zero will require economies and societies to make significant adjustments. Many of these adjustments depend on a coordinated action involving governments, businesses and enabling institutions, and by extending planning and investment horizons 🌞 Do you think our governments are ready for the climate crisis?
