Apparently you can’t be big like Lizzo and genuinely be confident lol —it’s only exclusive to slim women. It’s like people want “the other” to be insecure so bad. I can relate as a dark skin woman growing up being asked why I’m so confident or people “jokingly” saying I have “light skin energy”. I’m the sh*t period. Confidence is an essence, a sense of self, not one look, no one group holds this monopoly— and I want every woman (light, dark, big, small, short, tall, old, young etc) to embody it! ✨
