It’s been almost 13 years since Sandy Hook. This image struck a chord. While Republicans are busy painting over sidewalks, banning drag-queen reading hour, banning classics by Maya Angelou and children’s books on Billie Jean King.....nothing gets done about the shooting epidemic in our schools. America just keeps sending little children to school with bullet-proof backpacks to do mass-shooting drills, like if it was normal. IT IS NOT NORMAL.
