Simultaneities in general: 1. Found this wonderful Dadaist installation on the sidewalk so obvi took a pic or... several 2. Because it’s kindof how I feel. Untethered - but surrounded by cobalt. I think I’m reaching a total internal border that needs to be broken. I’m excited for the break. Kintsugi in general - y’kno the concept 3. @adamtendler performed #Inheritances in LA for all the new music friends over there recently and I got a lot of feedback that made me cry. Can’t wait to hear my piece in this wild set of composers - and to feel the affirmation that comes from that juxtaposition 4. Meanwhile clothes and tour and gifts - I leave again on Wednesday but technically tomorrow cause I’m up at Princeton doing some mix work on an album 😅 5. August 19: this will get its own post, but for right now maybe being embedded in everything is earnest. I just finished a piece that feels fully representative of where I’m at. I want you all to experience it with me. 6. And where I’m at is p tired. But I’ve been p tired before - and will be again later. Thinking about what future I need to create for me haha. I think this is something we can all resonate with - I hope so anyway 🌀🌀🌀 7. But for now, more clothes and forgotten necklace gifts from my father that are getting a second run 8.
