The second and final installment of "Art in Process”—a survey of works by Nam June Paik spanning the artist's career—is on view at Gagosian, Park & 75, New York, through August 26. Featured are Paik's “late style” television sculptures, which he produced after suffering a stroke in 1996. In these works, Paik returns his focus to the possibilities of studio production and gallery display. These repurposed vintage metal and wood televisions, decorated energetically with acrylic paint and oil marker, become unique sites for the display of video works from throughout his career.
