Big news out of Team @nomacph @reneredzepinoma - woke up to an @nytimes alert and @juliamoskin article on the imminent closure...or maybe better to say transmogrification? Of @nomacph at the end of 2024. I’ve been fortunate enough to know and work with @reneredzepinoma and his incredible team, many of whom have been fixtures in the Noma firmament since I met them all in Tulum back in 2017 (Polaroid of Chef taken on my 190 Land Camera I had with me then) In the last couple years, I’ve also been fortunate to enjoy some unforgettable meals at 2.0 (first photo of the opening 2.0 menu) and just as in that first Tulum meal, they have always defied my expectations and surprised and brought true delight at every moment. The announcement is already turbocharging a very passionate conversation about the nature of fine dining and awards and lists and labor and life, but I’m sure @nomacph will also begin whole new conversations, as they have many times before. Excited for what’s to come - hope to make it in for one last meal and to salute the team before the doors close.
