As usual, I dressed appropriately .. . To walk 5 kilometers uphill through the steep, exquisitely terraced vineyards of #Switzerland’s #Lavaux, a UNESCO world heritage site, filled with pendulous grapes, ready for an early harvest. I had an amazing guide, Pascale Fesquet, who regaled me with stories and facts—and a long and seriously appreciated and elegant tasting @les11terres in The evocative village of Epesses. Thank you Julien Spielmann for all those stunning sips— even the last one that made the taxi driver a bit annoyed .Je suis desole—or should I say — Dezolay. Thanks to the concierge staff at the one and only @royalsavoylausanne for arranging a perfect day.
