Cattle on the beach at White Park Bay, County Antrim. That this beautiful bay didn't get developed is down to one indefatigable man - Wilfred Capper, who raised the money from the public to buy it and then handed it over to the National Trust. And while he was at it, Capper also single-handedly created one of the longest waymarked trails in the British Isles, the Ulster Way, which is 75 years old this year.
