was contemplating posting my top ten photos of 2022 or some other sort of ambitious round up but i think i’ll keep it simple: THANK YOU to the incredible couples and vendors i’ve worked with over the past wild, busy, unbelievable year. 2022 took me all over california, to maine and new york, italy and london. i shot some of my favorite photos of all time and listened to some of my favorite vows and speeches. i worked with so many people that became friends and for the first time, practiced how to balance work and my own shit (because more often than not, it all blends together). i leaned a lot on people this year (which i am not good at doing) and i am so grateful for everyone who lent me their ears to help solve my problems, their eyes to take a second look at images i became blind to and their time when i simply needed a break to relax and not take everything so seriously. hundreds of rolls of film (shout out to my secret lab that i will keep under wraps until my dying day). a ton of new friends and sources of inspiration. and thirty something couples who trusted me to photograph this time in their lives. incredibly grateful and looking forward to what 2023 is bringing in: more amazing couples (like these two), more flights (love u, @delta ), more opportunities and most importantly, more taco bell. happy new year! long live p-22!
