Cerro Amay is a large cloud forest in Northern Central America, about 80 million years old. It receives an inch or two of rain daily and is located on a limestone mountain. At 2,000 to 8,000 feet, the mountain is dotted with about 5,000 vertical caves. The location is well-known for pumas and the Resplendent Quetzal, and is home to over 400 resident bird species.
