“Drench Coat” styled with “Chainmail Skirt” and Kalasag Vest. Garments: long coat celebrates excessive self-expression and the overuse of eyeliner; a harmless substance used creatively and obsessively. The coat was dipped in black metal paint. Skirt made from 150+ organza drawstring bags for storing preferred amulets (common Filipino amulets are salt, the crucifix and metal nails).
