The dreamy way the light cascaded at dusk with a full canopy of trees above. These trees are no longer standing because of hurricane Fiona, that wreaked such havoc in the Maritime provinces over the weekend. We had a devastating loss of 6 mature trees on our cottage property but our glass house sustained only a small amount of damage. This can be fixed and trees can be planted but our hearts go out to all the families and businesses that have been so affected.
