Big gay kisses! Mural at @upfest Swipe to the end for the smexy inspo - shoutout to @raoniandrighetti & @padraigwalshh for modelling and making out for me. Was so fun to bring the queer to such a big street art festival (largest in Europe) - over 300 painters and thousands of visitors. Painted this in one day, long enough to get lobster sunburnt. Had a lot of people come up to say how nice it was to see different imagery represented. And I was stoked to see queer paint friends like @mister.samo painting here too. I zoom cropped the image to depersonalise the faces (I'm over the distraction of individualism) and try and get the viewer to look a bit longer to work it out (heard a lot of "ohhh, its a kiss!" comments). But I still wanted it to be very visibly and obviously queer so went for bearded male models. Lots of families and kids attending so hopefully it prompted some constructive conversations.
