I had a pretty shocking reality check in August 2025 when I took a week off. šŸ¤¦šŸ» I felt like I was on autopilot constantly, always working, always training, never stopping to just breathe or move a little slower through life. So I mapped out ALL my day to day tasks and how long they took in a spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet never lies. šŸ–•šŸ» There it was smirking at me from the sheet… my overly ambitious and well intentioned over scheduling and over committing. FFS Man. When it’s all mapped out like that, you can’t argue with it. ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ The only place you can go from that is to regroup, prioritise, and go again. If you are trying to go to the gym five times a week but the actual slots of time don’t exist, there’s no way it will happen. If you aren’t giving yourself transition time from tasks (looking at us especially ND folk), then the tasks will take longer and bleed into others, so something will have to give. šŸ™…šŸ» Don’t let your well being be the thing that gives. Allocate the time and be real with yourself. Set boundaries, and don’t be afraid to scale back when you need to. I hope this gives you as much of an awakening as it did me if you’re currently struggling with fitting everything in. šŸ’”Ā PS:Ā IfĀ you don’t have a program for your training, this is also going to bleed into that workout time. If you’d like to try one of mine, just comment ā€˜PLAN’ under this post, and I’ll send you a 50% off code.
