Per Tomatsu e Moriyama essere un fotografo significa essere un senzatetto o un flâneur senza meta guidato da ciò che appare davanti o sotto agli occhi. Il fotografo si amalgama con la folla urbana ed è in continuo contatto con gli altri. Una full immersion nella Tokyo dal dopoguerra ai nostri giorni attraverso centinaia di scatti di due tra i principali protagonisti della fotografia giapponese: Daido Moriyama e il suo maestro Shomei Tomatsu.
