I Nui Ke Aho is a non-profit organization based in Waialua on the North Shore of O’ahu which operates a traditional double-hulled Hawaiian sailing canoe built and maintained by dedicated staff and volunteers, using mainly traditional techniques and materials. This canoe, Wanana Paoa, was built for the purpose of community building through Indigenous education. With Wanana Paoa, I Nui Ke Aho seeks to strengthen the North Shore community. The aim is to create a traditional Hawaiian navigator’s mindset, while also providing educational programs that teach collaboration, knowledge, and pono decision-making to the youth, ohana and community. Official Patty Mills North Shore Classic t-shirt’s will be available to any person who makes a donation of $10 or more to I Nui Ke Aho. The total amount donated from the t-shirts will be matched by the @teammillsfdn and also donated to I Nui Ke Aho. So go grab a tee! They will be available this weekend at the Cannon Activities Center at BYU-Hawaii in Laie before, during, and after each game of the #northshoreclassicbasketball. Shirts will also be available at Team Mills pop-ups located across the North Shore over the next few days. Head to @northshoreclassicbball to follow along the pop-up locations. Culture. Community. Basketball. #northshoreclassicbball
