A massive thanks to Michael and Dr. Michelle from @AdvantageSkinClinic who joined us for the @BusinessIllawarra Christmas Party at the Austinmer Surf Life Saving Club. It was one of the first events we’ve taken part in ‘officially’ in SCC’s home town and it was great to be out in the community meeting people and providing free spot checks. The first person we met actually found something quite suss that will be getting seen too this week so fingers crossed for them. And out of the few dozen people we checked quite a few had potential #skincancer. Quite alarming really. And we weren’t even doing full body skin checks like we normally do... Anyways, it was a damn fine night and awesome to be invited. Thank you @BusinessIllawarra for letting us share our story in front of a room full of #SkinCheckChampions. So many great people, organisations and (hopefully) potential partners in our mission to make skin cancer history. Hopefully there’ll be many more events like this down here in the future. #MerryChristmas everyone and stay (sun) safe out there!
