Thank you for sharing our stories. Unfortunately, these stories are not unique to us. With a lot of sacrifice, my husband and I put money a side in order to have our baby. Even with some saving aside, we continued doing what we love- serving people and creating meaningful connections. We had reservations lined up, up to a week before my due date. Something inside me said to reschedule the last two weeks of reservation for after birth. Our last dinner service before the baby arrived was on a Friday, and by Sunday morning my water broke. Six days after giving birth- naturally and with no pain medication I was back at the work.
