Want to know how to extract honey, become a GPCA volunteer beekeeper and more? Join one of the January or February Virtual Beginning Beekeeping classes! Spend 2 days connecting with our Head Beekeeper to learn the basics of beekeeping: equipment, hive design and construction, bee biology and behavior, bee management, and bee products. This lecture based class has been adapted for a virtual experience and is limited in capacity to encourage questions and group interaction. This comprehensive class is a prerequisite for joining the GPCA volunteer beekeeper program. Scholarships are still available.
