TWO POSTS BECAUSE ITS A BIG DAY😭💖💖💖 @si_swimsuit AHH! I am officially a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model and I can’t even begin to explain the gratitude I feel, especially given this year’s theme “BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE”🥹💚 To me, this moment is a celebration of how far I have come. Throughout my life, I have felt like I needed to choose which side of myself is most paletable. As women, you are constantly being labeled. Are you smart OR sexy? Are you career driven OR do you want to be a mom? Are you creative OR analytical? Women can be everything, all at once, and should be encouraged to go after all of their dreams regardless of what ANYONE is going to think. Not only that, but be vocal about our accomplishments and celebrate one another for all that we are! That is the change I want to see. In this photo, I see the first woman in her family to graduate from college, which she paid for on her own. I see a woman who worked her booty off to get a job at Google, left that job to start her own company that was accepted into one of the top tech accelerators in the world. I see a woman loves her body and embraces her curves, who just a few years ago had a terrible relationship with food. I see a sexy AND smart woman, one capable of whatever she puts her damn mind to. This feeling is one I want every single woman to feel. Grateful forever for this moment and all of the amazing people that have supported my journey to get here. I LOVE YOU!!! 💖 And last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to the team at @si_swimsuit - @mj_day what an incredible group of humans who really put their heart and soul into each and every shoot.
