From the coast to the mountains tops: I miss you everywhere I go. It’s been one month since Spencer died and it hasn’t gotten much easier- but these views have helped. I was on the coast and experienced a glorious sunset paired with a double rainbow and I knew then that he was with me. I was hiking the other day and came across a tree down in the forest with a bunch of other trees growing out of it. That tree had fallen around all of the same trees that it grew up with. Even after it died, it was still providing for those around it. Although their neighbor had fallen down , all the other trees still continued to live and continued to thrive — all with the help of their fallen neighbor. Even after his death, he is still bringing people togethera and that I am thankful for. “Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.” 💚 I explored the Olympic National Park, Neah Bay, Hoh Rainforest, and the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.
