When I received the call that I had gotten the role for Audrey, I had to stop and just thank Jesus for this amazing opportunity. I gave all the glory to him and thanked the people around me who made this dream come true. I am so proud of the people around me who made this musical happen in under a month. We worked so hard for these roles and put our hearts and minds into it. We put our sweat and tears into this musical. I was able to portray such a beautiful, and misunderstood woman, and I’m so thankful that I was the one chosen to do so. There are so many people in the world who are like Audrey, who go through abuse and have to fight through it. Everyone does deserve a sweet, considerate, suddenly successful guy like Seymour and their Somewhere That’s Green. I hope that this musical somehow brought awareness to these situations and realize that they are not alone. No matter how funny this musical was portrayed, it meant the world to me. I’m so proud of everyone on stage and how they were able to portray such beautiful characters. A special thank you to THNMusicals for making my dream come true, and to my family for pushing me towards my goals. Another thank you to my sweet, encouraging boyfriend, Davis, for always being so proud of anything I put my mind to.
