A year later my musical hero was gone. It seemed like a mistake to me, for such a gift to be silenced, forever, so seemingly prematurely. It didn't seem right. It broke my heart. It took me some time after that before I started listening to Soundgarden or Chris Cornell again. But these last few months I've gone through some old childhood records. That's how this song resurfaced. This is from Chris Cornell's solo record 'Euphoria Morning'. It was my soundtrack during many road trips in the backseat of a car and during many sleepless nights, quietly putting on headphones in the dark and finding the play button on my discman.
