“Skull Cocoon” outfit from my collection “FEARCESSATION” Approx. 120+ hours of hand sewing and ruching the lining to create a trypophobic appearance of brains and butterfly cocoon interiors. Trapping oneself within phobic stimulus to reshape ideas of fear into comfort with reimagination of “protection” that p*lice uniforms supposedly symbolise. The garment’s form is supported by fibre glass skeleton maintaining its shape through the material’s resistant quality against the boning channels.
