✨One evening last summer I was rushing home down Metropolitan Avenue deep in thought. I was a few steps past the vitrine of this space before I processed how delicious and sultry she was, the custom carved wood, the tobacco cloth curtains, the smell of sage ...there was an energy in it all that whispered to me, “come back. peek inside.” and I listened. I discovered a QR code and it pulled up an instagram. I messaged this stranger “I am in love with your space, I don’t know what you’re doing here but I want to be a part of it.” ... Today, I am honored to help nurture this event space and 2 others collectively named @rosa_newyork full time alongside her creator @shawangunknectar , an electric force of a woman and daily inspiration.
