“The Last Girl in New York” . . . As time progressed this body of work took on new energy, and I’ve since leaned into releasing work. It’s tough when premeditated hopes aren’t achieved, but this is one of many proud moments in creative fluidity, unattached by urgent deadlines. We gathered and shot everything in Brooklyn during the peak of pandemic lockdown two summers ago, and beyond being a sartorial shoot, we created artistry reflective of our collective faith in beauty and grace in a time of unknown.
