HELLO there’s a lot of new people here 🥹 so thought i’d introduce myself again. i’m radam and i go by they/them pronouns ⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ it might shock you to know that (almost) everyone has pronouns!!! it’s just that trans/GNC people are constantly referred to by the wrong ones (ie. misgendering)⁣ 😡 ⁣⁣⁣ being misgendered can be felt like a knife wound, a deep knowing that you can’t control a critical aspect of your identity. and more importantly, that the person you’re interacting with doesn’t care to allow you that freedom we should ALL have⁣ 🙌🏽 ⁣⁣⁣ language is ever-evolving and culturally-dependent. however, the personal choice of naming is an aspect of individual identity eminently critical in a society structured around external and superficial categorisation ♾ ⁣ try to take the time to find out how the people around you feel most comfortable around you.⁣⁣ it’s worth it⁣ 💗 ⁣⁣⁣ say hello and comment your pronouns (or if you just go by your name) on this post if you like. will say hello back to you all 👋🏽
