This award came to us as a bar, team, family who stand corner of Hudson and Charles St. with extra supportive neighbors and regulars near & far. Congratulations to the team KATANA KITTEN. What you all create everyday together as a team is very special. The charm each one of you bring to the bar with professionalism blended by joy of the guest... I’ve seen it so many times and so often since we opened. Thank you so much everyone. Chiki ti. I’d like to thank my family. My wife Taryn and daughter Azusa. You make me who I am today or at least I try to be. I’m sorry for late nights and being away some times, thank you for supporting me and thank you for make me realized the importance of family time. I’m grateful for everything my grandparents, parents have given to me since the day I was born hot & crazy. My work ethic stems from watching them work and I will try to tell them that in person when I see them next time. Big thank you to this bar & restaurant community and for those who built this. And thank you for your work and effort to making it inclusive, fair, and inspiring. Witwhout my family & loving friends I’m just a selfish and stupid person. Bartender is not just a job title, but bartender is who I am, what I do is bartender, bartender always try to be helpful to others, be nice to everyone, and feel the joy connecting people & try not leaving anyone feel alone in the room.
