We met at 35 & 37, both having had prior relationships that could have caused both of us to stay closed off + alone forever. Creating space to be vulnerable TOGETHER was CRUCIAL. We did it in the beginning and still practice it today. Tahoe was our first road trip with a group of Colin’s friends that Sam had never met. Games, dinners, cliff jumping, boats, and deep convo. The trip led to lifelong friendships for both of us, as well as more intimacy + opportunities for open comms between us.
