The perfect way for me to show my new piece to the world! . A FEW MONTHS AGO, on one of those typical pouring down with rain London spring mornings. I met Emily at Liverpool Street, who had just arrived from Italy with my new piece in hand: a mahogany heart inlaid with bronze wounds, sprinkled with diamonds, sapphires, aquamarines, and tourmalines; dripping detachable earrings of 18k gold and a Colombian emerald, which could rest on an oxidised bronze chain (I wanted to look centuries old) as a pendant or pin into a lapel as a brooch. My first necklace, pendant, and brooch as an all in one or, indeed, separates. I raced to the East London studio, arrived soaking wet, and entered the set for... @vanityfairlondon ! I was welcomed into the studio full of friends @damianfoxe @mrbitton @adamdecruz @bjornkrischker @chisatochee and of course the star herself @erinoconnor: icon, legend, and above all, friend. I finally got to meet @annabel_davidison_yeah, dream come true! Surrounded by mountains of haute-couture, the gloom sparkled away by jewellery from the world's biggest houses, I wasn’t sure my new piece would make the cut even after it was shot, being the only independent jewellery designer and all... but here we are and this is it!
