The Who returned to Cincinnati for the first time since 11 concertgoers were killed when the crowd surged to get into Cincinnati Riverfront Coliseum for the band's concert on Dec. 3, 1979. The band paid tribute to the fans who lost their lives throughout the evening with members of the Finneytown High School Choir singing and playing in the orchestra on the last song. Proceeds from the evening were donated to the P.E.M. Memorial Scholarship Fund, established in memory of the three Finneytown High School students among the 11 concertgoers who died in 1979.
